Desperate for help hoping this site is just what we need Reggie our chocolate 13 weeks old puppy is turning into a nitemare typical day starts at 3.10 early hours when Reggie is in his crate sleeping and wants to be out for potty outside in our garden then he will go bk in crate till 6.10 when he wants to be out again ..he will then go bk in crate till 7.00 when he is then fed then its play.

hi everyone, i got a staff x collie pup last week, shes 8 weeks old and is really good during the day but whenever i put her in the kitchen at night when i come to bed she whines and barks all night, she has loads of toys and all her food and water plus a bowl of puppy milk but she just doesnt let up, ive been told i should leave her to do this as she will learn that i come to let her out in. If your puppy really needs to pee at night, consider limiting his water after 6 PM. After all, what goes in, must come out. The rest of the time, keep an eye on his intake. If he drinks a lot, he will have to pee a lot. Now, that said, the way to deal with it is NOT to limit his water. People sometimes limit water in an effort to control. Training any puppy to sleep through the night can be challenging to start with and Labradors are no exception. Important Note. According to the Animal Humane Society, leaving a puppy in a crate for an 8-10 hour workday is “not an appropriate way” to crate train.If you have times when you can’t be there, ask a neighbor or hire a pet sitter to give your pup a break. The more attention it has while outside of the crate means less time whining and crying once back in the crate. Having said this though, you will have to go to your puppy at least once during the night… Your Puppy Will Need To Potty During The Night.
