Lab Puppy Ate A Rock

Hi, my dog ate a raw steak while camping and was fine until we got home the next day. He then had diarrhea and vomited. In both his stool and vomit, there were pea sized (or less) rocks. I’m wondering if I need to contact my vet because my vet is known to provide the most expensive option first if I don’t do my research.
